FINANCIAL INFORMATION

Electrical / Commitment Deposits ($200 Total and Non-Refundable)

A $200 non-refundable deposit is due to guarantee a specific site.   $100 of the deposit goes towards your electric bill.   Any usage over the deposit will be billed to the site holder; any usage under the amount of the deposit will be refunded at the end of the season.  If money is owed for electric, payment is due one month from the date of the bill.   Each September, the $100 electric deposit will be due for the following year to guarantee your site.

The other $100 is a one-time deposit, this deposit will be used to pay any outstanding bills and will be refundable after the permanent departure of your site.   PLEASE NOTE:  If you decide you are unable to return as a seasonal siteholder and we have stored your camping unit, shed, and/or deck for the winter season, you will lose your $200 deposit as a storage fee.

Lot Rent:

The lot rent is $2,100 plus electricity.   We require your first scheduled payment of $350 by March 15th.   This first payment confirms your site for the season.  If we do not recieve payment by this time, your contract will be void.

Payment Due Dates:

Payments are due the 15th of each month beginning in March; final payment is due on August 15th (please see contract for scheduled payments). Any late payments will be subject to a 2% finance charge ($2.00 minimum/$25.00 maximum).

Returned Check / Credit Cards:

A fee of $15.00 on all returned checks will be charged to the responsible party. Rent payment cannot be made by credit card. Make check or money order payable to "Silver Lake Resort and Campground".

VISITOR/GUEST INFORMATION

Visitor Punch Card:

Each seasonal site holder will receive a punch card for 24 free visits for guests throughout the season; the punch card will remain on file at the office. Please notify the front desk by email, phone or in person to validate your visitor(s).  The card can be used in lieu of paying for overnight guest. Standard overnight rates apply once the full card has been used.  The punch card can also be used for guests staying in your trailer, even if you are not there.   Please see below for details.

Vistors:

All guests must be registered at the office before entering the campground by the seasonal site holder. At this time you may use your visitor punch card or pay the nightly fee for each guest. There is no charge for daily visitors.  Any guest who is found unregistered will be billed to the responsible lot holder and charged double the normal guest fees. The seasonal site holder will be responsible for any unpaid charges incurred during their stay. The maximum occupancy limit for a seasonal site is 8 persons.

Family using Your Trailer:

You must first notify management if a family member or friend is to use your trailer when you are not there, and they will need to pay a reduced lot rate of $25 for the site; immediate family members (ie parents, children, siblings) can use the visitor punch card instead.  Visitors are to stop at the office to register all occupants, pay fees if you have not made prior arrangements, and receive a vehicle pass. Management does not promote this option and we expect limited usage by other family members and/or friends.
