Things we do to help the environment

    In the park

  • We recycle! Bring your newspapers, glass, plastic and aluminum down to the recycling center located next to the dumpsters
  • Plant beds are mulched to prevent evaporation
  • Solar lights are used throughout the park's walkways

    In the office

  • Computers, printers, and monitors are turned off each night
  • Most confirmation letters and maps are sent via e-mail
  • Recycled paper products used
  • Paperless check-out

    In the pool/bathhouse area

  • Smoking is prohibited inside all buildings
  • Insulated pipes help to improve energy efficiency in the bathhouse
  • Refillable dispensers for bathroom amenities
  • Excel Hand-dryers used exclusively in bathrooms
  • Low flow faucets (2.5 gallons per minute) and showerheads
  • Fluorescent bulbs used
  • Pool covered at night to reduce evaporation, chemical usage and cleaning time
