Just arrived home from Silver Lake resort & campground. As ususal we had a great time. We were put on sites 93 & 92 as requested and can't find one thing to complain about. You have a great place to vacation and the staff goes out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Pete, his wife and I believe his name was Garrett (bike rider) were great to talk to. Very nice campground and campstore. During busy times attendant mops shower after every use. Bathrooms are always clean. Campstore has everything you need and prices are competive.

The staff and amenities at Siver Lake Resort and Campground were over and above any expectations, (not the average campground). Everyone was so friendly and willing to accomodate. From the first phone call to make the reservation, to the moment we checked out, we had a wonderful experience. Perfect location, very clean, updated, comfortable. I have to start by saying what a true family this campground is. The staff makes you feel so welcome and always have a smile on their faces. Everyone says hi and just makes you feel very welcome to stay there. This is the first time we have stayed here and we will definitely be back. The lots are big and our dogs loved their walks everyday seeing new friends too! The pool is very clean and the showers are so clean along with the bathrooms and everything else. A special thank you to Barrett for lending a hand. We cant say enough about this great place, thank you all for an experience we wont forget.

We stayed there on July 31 through August 4th 2011 and what a blast we had. I have never pulled a camper before but the staff made me feel right at home they have people working from 7:00am till 11:00pm everyday, So when ever I had a question they were sure to answer. They even helped me unhook and hook up my camper .... all i can say is wow that's customer service there!!! Bathrooms are spot less and showers are great too. They have new showers already and still updating as we speak. They also discussed putting in a big shop vac for those rough days at the dunes :). If I was to rate this place 1-10 i would give it a 9.5. The staff is by far the best about this place! Once all showers are done I will give it a 10. Over all I will be coming back for many years to come.

My husband, cousin, brother, and I were going to camp here for a few days because we were impressed by the photos of the campground and bath facilities. However, we were denied the ability to camp because not everyone in our group is 21 (only one of us, and he is 19). Apparently this is all due to the campground having a liquor license. I've never heard of such a thing. So for all of you groups of friends out there looking for a campsite here you better all be 21 or be prepared to bring your parents along for the ride.

We stayed last July, 2010 and had a wonderful stay. Had tire trouble with the camper on the way there and Don was very helpful in finding a business close by that we could get the tire to and get it fixed. Helped save us a lot of money. Loved the ammenities and the showers are great! Planning on coming back each year. It's a great and clean place to camp. We have recommended it to all our friends.

My husband and I just loved this campground. We are actually thinking about making it a seasonal place for 2012 camping season. They were so nice and helping. We had a full hook up site and our sewer hose could not reach and they allowed us to almost use 2 sites to make it work for us at no additional charge. Very Very nice... Bathrooms were very modern and clean, The pool was very warm. It was quiet at night. I would totally recommend this to anyone. Can't wait to camp there again. Father's Day weekend is a great time to go !

We are 2nd year seasonals and absolutely love it at Silver Lake! Don & Sarah have a well run, clean and fun camp ground. Our family loves to come and visit. We look forward to seeing the same campers as well as meeting the new folks. I have not spoken to anyone that did not enjoy there stay.

Our family came to Silver Lake Resort and Campground just a couple of weeks ago for a weekend getaway. We had no reservations as it was a spur of the moment camping trip before the kids went back to school. The staff was more than willing to accommodate us. They were friendly and helpful. They were always "out and about" to oversee the park. We have camped many times before but this was one of the cleanest campgrounds we have stayed in. We are already making plans for a return visit next year. See you then!!

Very impressed! We only stayed for 2 nights, but still could tell this was a quality campground. The facilities were very up to date and someone was always making sure they were clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back in the future.

Thank you Don and Sarah. We have spent our summer vacation at Silver Lake for over 30 years. The last 4 have been at SLRC and let me tell you, we wouldn't go anywhere else! We've always had a wonderful experience and it's what keeps up motivated through the long winter months. The park is clean, safe and all the employees are friendly and happy to see us return. You folks are the best!
This summer was no disappointment and in fact as I write, we are submitting a request to join the family of seasonal campers. Next summer should be better because we will see you more often. Thank you so much. Your attitude and warmth keeps us coming back. This is truly a family resort.

We visited your campground recently and loved it and cannot wait to go back. The sites were very nice and the bathrooms rocked! We visit the dunes once or twice a year from Ohio and have done so for a number of years. Every time we do, we stay at Silver Lake Resort and Campground.
The owners, Don and Sarah, have gone to great lengths to build and maintain an absolutely beautiful campground! Always clean, with incredible amenities in a quiet, family friendly environment!
If you're looking for a campground in the area, I highly recommend Silver Lake Resort and Campground.

Camped Aug 14-Aug 19, have camped at many places and this campground is truly the best we ever camped at. Staff are constantly cleaning the bathrooms and showers. Never dirty!!! The staff are very friendly. The new laudry room was a plus. My son got a new toy and needed a small screwdriver to get the toy out. The owner went above and beyond to find a screwdriver to get the toy out, making my son very happy. Will come back every year. Silver Lake is a great place to visit and Silver Lake Resort and Campgound make it the best combination. Thanks for the great memories, see you next year!
