What's so special about Silver Lake? Two words: sand dunes. Experience breath taking views of Silver Lake and Lake Michigan as you sit atop a 150-foot hill in a recreational vehicle. Sound thrilling? Over 300,000 visitors each year seem to think so. The sand dunes are Silver Lake's family playground. You can rent or bring your own buggy, take a guided tour with the whole family, or simply relax at one of the many surrounding beaches.

When you're done playing in the sand, there's a variety of dining, golfing, go karts, bumper boats, shopping, lighthouse tours, and fishing to enjoy. What more could you need? Spacious, grassy sites with 20/30/50 amp service, water, and sewer are just the beginning. Sites were newly developed in 2006, and with the various renovations such as a new pool, playground, pavillion, wi-fi hotspot, and restrooms, we’re just getting started. Located in the Silver Lake Sand Dunes downtown business district, this exciting two-day festival takes place outdoors on Friday, September 10th and continues throughout the weekend.

This one of kind fall festival features live music, three unique vehicle shows, an apple pie contest, and over forty professional cookers battling it out for the top prize in the Michigan Championship BBQ Cook-off. Come out to enjoy the children’s activities, face painting, numerous craft booths, locally grown produce, golf scramble, Little Sable Lighthouse Tours, and so much more.
